Hansa Guilds is inspired by sea trading games in general including great classic games such as ports of call, 1701 AD, 1602 AD, 1503 AD, Port Royal, Patrican and even Sid Meiers Pirates. However the aim of the game will be to build merchant fleets and establish a prosperous econony. The game will feature a tycoon kind of a game. Besides manging your fleet and crew you must avoid pirates and engage in diplomacy with other nations being subject to trading embargos, wars and other game conditions.
